What we do
We build post-frame buildings, also called pole barns: farm equipment sheds, hay and livestock barns, horse barns, workshops, garages, RV and boat storage, commercial buildings, and homes with a shop attached. We also repair storm damage, add bays and lean-tos to existing barns, and strengthen older buildings against wind.
Every service has its own page under Services in the menu, and every town we cover has its own page under Service Areas, because the right building for a cotton farm north of Lubbock is not the right building for a canyon-edge lot or an oilfield yard.
How we approach a project
The same four habits, whatever the building.
- Start with what it has to hold
The tallest machine, the longest trailer, the largest group of animals or the biggest tool decides the doors, the walls and the floor, so we ask about it first.
- Find out which rules apply
Permits, setbacks, floodplains, septic and deed restrictions depend on the parcel. We check them before drawing, not after.
- Design for the site
Wind is the main load on the open plains, and the ground can change from loam to caliche to clay within one footprint. Footings, bracing and doors are chosen for the site, not copied from another plan.
- Price it in lines
Shell, floor, openings, insulation and site work are priced separately, so you can see what each decision costs.
Where we work
We serve Lubbock and communities across the South Plains, including Wolfforth, Shallowater, Slaton, Idalou, Levelland, Littlefield, Plainview, Brownfield, Muleshoe and Denver City. Rules, ground and typical buildings change from town to town and from one county to the next, which is why each area has its own page.
What to expect when you get in touch
Call 806-581-1043, email [email protected] or use the form. Tell us the rough size, what the building will be used for and where the site is. We reply with questions and talk through the site with you. Anything larger than a small shed usually involves looking at the parcel, since the ground and the access change the design.
A note on the information on this site
The pages on this site are general guidance. Building codes, wind design values and local permit rules change, so we confirm them for your parcel before design, and you should confirm them with the permitting office and an engineer before you build.
Tell us what you want to build
Describe the building and the site in a few lines. We will come back with questions and, from there, a plan and a price.
